Bishop Robert Barron stands for the Catholic faith on Twitter and calls out the clear anti-Catholicism displayed by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Friends, it’s hard to imagine anything more offensive than some of the behavior of the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” which I think can only be described as an anti-Catholic hate group. pic.twitter.com/VLZP28Soab— Bishop Robert Barron (@BishopBarron) May 25, 2023
The LA Dodgers have invited a group of anti-Catholic drag queens called the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” to their June 16th Pride Night to present them with the Community Hero Award. The group calls itself an “Order” and takes considerable delight in mocking Catholic customs and traditions by dressing up as nuns, calling themselves “sisters” and their leader “abbess” and quoting the Bible verse, “go and sin no more” and changing it to “go and sin some more.”
If you are a Catholic or Christian and take your faith seriously, you cannot let such an offense occur against the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Join us in this REPARATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS! Here are three actions you can take RIGHT now to participate in this event:
ACTION 1: Learn more about our Prayer Procession to Dodger Stadium
ACTION 2: Print our flyer and share it with parishes, family, and friends. Share on social media, too. (see links to download & print below)
ACTION 3: Support our Billboard Campaign, which has brought the face of Christ to the streets of LA

The response has been overwhelming in a show of support from Americans who see this not just as an attack on one religion but on the American principle of respect for all religions.
St. John Paul II, the Saint and warrior against atheistic communism and religious persecution is coming to help. Can you?
Different groups, among them, Catholics for Catholics, America Needs Fatima, Catholic Vote, Church Militant and others, have come together to organize a prayerful, peaceful procession to LA Dodger Stadium on the day of the game, June 16th. All are welcome to join this event in reparation for the offenses committed against our Lord Jesus Christ and against all Christians by the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.”
