US READY FOR WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST

The Secretary of State and Defense have noted that Iran’s proxies may be involved and that the US is ready to respond if American personnel or armed forces are targeted.
11-YEAR-OLD TRANSGENDER KID IS GRAND MARSHAL OF ORLANDO PRIDE FESTIVAL PARADE
Dempsey Jara, an 11-year-old transgender girl, became the grand marshal of Orlando’s Come Out With Pride LGBTQ+ parade, where she discussed the significance of accepting oneself. Her mother claims that Dempsey identified as female since the age of five. Florida has passed bills that limit the rights of transgender individuals, including children.

Rep. Dean Phillips endorses Rep. Tom Emmer for GOP Speaker of the House, hoping for bipartisanship and reform. Emmer is one of nine contenders, and 12 Republicans have pledged to oppose him, despite former Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s endorsement.

BIDEN, TRUMP TIED IN NEW POLL WITH 37%
A Suffolk University and USA TODAY poll revealed that Joe Biden and Donald Trump would both receive 37% of voter support in a four-way race. Republicans were in favor of Trump, while Democrats prefered Biden. Both parties had similar negative ratings, and most voters were not in favor of third-party candidates. The margin of error for the poll was 3.1%.

Lubbock, Texas has passed a pro-life law, becoming a “Sanctuary County for the Unborn,” and banning abortions. The new law also prohibits the sale of dangerous abortion drugs, setting an example for other cities. The law does not penalize women seeking or having abortions and recognizes the legal protection of unborn babies, applying only to the city limits.

We oppose Issue 1 and do not believe it aligns with the majority of Ohio resident’s values.

Britney Spears’ memoir describes taking abortion pills as very painful. Women can feel pressured to get abortions, which the industry often promotes falsely. AT LEAST 26 SHOT DURING WEEKEND IN MAYOR JOHNSON’S CHICAGO
At least 26 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend with five deaths, including a Walgreens employee who survived a graze wound to the chest. This contributes to the continuing trend of gun violence in the city with 477 killed so far this year through October 22, 2023.
