Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL), who previously opposed Jim Jordan’s bid for Speaker, has now endorsed him. Rogers had previously been organizing opposition to Jordan, but with his endorsement, Jordan now has a clearer path to obtaining the necessary 217 votes on the House floor. Despite potential opposition from other Republicans, Rogers’ endorsement sends a strong signal to holdouts to back Jordan.

WAS AMERICA BUILT ON STOLEN LAND BY GENOCIDAL RACISTS? ER, NO
I criticize liberal Christians who promote decolonization and white guilt, arguing that their claims are based on inaccuracies and moral manipulation. They argue that the European settlement of the Americas was not as detrimental as it is commonly depicted and that Christian morals helped curb the actions of settlers. I suggests reading “Not Stolen” by Jeff Fynn-Paul for a more impartial view of European settlement in the Americas.

CAN A DONOR REVOLT SAVE AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES?
A recent shift in public opinion regarding far-left’s cultural control, especially on college campuses, fueled by recent pro-Hamas protests and statements made by student groups. The pushback against those who support the terrorist organization has led to a renewed commitment to institutional neutrality by universities. Political litmus tests for employment need to be avoided, and the recent donor protest at Penn could be the beginning of substantial change.
DIVINE RETRIBUTION AND THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS?
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ elimination from the National League Championship Series is being linked to Divine Retribution by some due to the team’s ‘Pride Night’ ceremony that saw them honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The Dodgers were swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks in three games, and one fan speculates that the team’s subpar starting pitching may have been linked to the ceremony.
