When asked if the outcome of the 2023 World Series was influenced by a higher power, most people would say no. However, the fact that only one Major League Baseball team, the Texas Rangers, did not host a “Pride Night” in 2023 and ended up winning the championship is quite interesting.

The World Series came down to the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Outsports, a Vox Media online publication highlighting LGBTQ+ athletes and inroads in sports, was upset that the Rangers were the only team that did not host a “Pride Night” in Major League Baseball. However, the Texas Rangers won the best-of-seven series, becoming the 2023 MLB World Series Champions.

While some may argue that the Rangers’ win was due to skill, others may see it as divine intervention. It’s worth noting that the Rangers were not the only team in the league to have a good record. However, they were the only team to not host a “Pride Night.”

Whether or not God played a role in the outcome of the 2023 World Series is up for debate. However, it is undeniable that there is a correlation between “Pride Nights” and the outcomes of games.
