In the newly released footage, John Emanuel Banuelos can be seen scaling the scaffolding outside the Capitol building before appearing to fire a gun into the air. The shots can be heard in the video, causing chaos among the crowd below. It is unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the shots being fired.
