Trump announced a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, to honor firefighting hero Corey (Comperatore) and other patriots injured recently. Despite the Secret Service recommending indoor campaign events, Trump is determined to hold outdoor rallies.
The Secret Service’s caution about outdoor venues has sparked debates, with some viewing it as an attempt to dampen Trump’s support. Trump, known for drawing massive crowds, faced criticism for the security lapse during the incident where he was shot at.
Following the shooting, former Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle resigned amid scrutiny. Republicans blamed Homeland Security Secretary Alexander Mayorkas for neglecting security enhancements requested by the Trump team.
Despite the security concerns, Trump remains resolute about continuing outdoor rallies. The Heritage Foundation highlighted suspicious digital footprints leading to a possible Deep State involvement in the assassination attempt.
