At Christmas, Christ comes down from heaven to the manger of Bethlehem. In a certain way, every Mass we attend is a little Christmas. Christ comes down from heaven in the Eucharist through the hands of the priest. The priest then fulfills his sacred duty to distribute Christ to the Faithful gathered around the manger at the altar.
As lay people we too are called to bring Christ to others.
Last week at AmericaFest 2024, Catholics for Catholics had a unique opportunity to do just that. AmericaFest saw some of the most important leaders in the conservative movement gathered together with President Trump as they laid out the mission for the years ahead.
As you know, Catholics for Catholics had a special breakout session in which we discussed our ambitious plans for the future. The most important part however, was at the end when the whole room fell to their knees before our Lord exposed in the Blessed Sacrament.
I invite you to watch this video from the event. Yes, it’s important to rally Catholics for a righteous political cause but at the end of the day what matters most is bringing Christ to others. Despite all our weaknesses let’s pray that people will always see Christ in us.
As you gather together for Christmas, please know how much we here at Catholics for Catholics treasure the bond we have formed with you over these short two years of our existence. We have been through a lot together and are on fire to take on the next challenge ahead.
America is back and Christ is King!
May the Blessed Mother and good Saint Joseph protect each of you.
Merry Christmas!
God Bless and Fight On!
