Catholics for Catholics, powered by the Holy Spirit, intends to do just that.
We’re excited to announce the first of many direct engagements with young people who are the future of this Country. Our goal is to raise up a new generation of patriots and convert them to the Catholic Faith.
We have named these new powerful public events: Catholic Champion Crusades. The word “Champion” reflects our spiritual ties to the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, Wisconsin where Mary appeared and instructed us to “gather the children in this wild country and teach them the Faith.” The word “Crusade” reflects the battle for souls that we are called to as followers of Christ.
Our first Catholic Champion Crusade will be held at the University of Tennessee on May 1st, Feast of St. Joseph the Worker.
As soon as we announced this event, we received immediate enthusiasm from students and local Catholic groups. This convinces me that the harvest is ready, the laborers are few, and we need to be out there!
We’ll start each event with a talk on a Catholic topic followed by Q&A from the students. We will conclude every event with a Patriotic Rosary, to pray for America. This type of public event engaging in the Faith is at the core of Catholics for Catholics. America urgently needs young Catholic patriots who love America and most importantly, love our Lord.
