We are excited to announce the 2nd annual Champion Priest for America Retreat, to take place October 13th–14th in Champion, Wisconsin. This retreat is one of a kind for priests, offering them the chance to spend time at the only approved Marian apparition site in the United States.
109 years ago today, Our Lady appeared to three young children in Fatima, Portugal, but 58 years earlier, She chose to appear in America with a simple and yet very powerful message:
“Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation. Teach them the Faith!”
Leading the retreat this year for the priests will be Father Chris Alar, who serves as the Provincial Superior of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, headquartered at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. He is the producer of the widely popular Divine Mercy 101 DVD and hosts a highly followed YouTube series where he breaks down complex Catholic theology, Church history, and devotional practices. He is also a frequent guest on Newsmax and other media outlets. He is loved by priests around the country.
Catholics for Catholics and our partner organization, Mediatrix Services Foundation, are committed to gathering the children in the wild country of the United States. On the front lines of this battle are our beloved priests. They work 24/7 to bring us the Sacraments.
We are committed to helping these warriors get some time off the line to recharge. To do this, there is no better place than to bring them to Our Lady herself at her Shrine in Champion. She formed the Heart of Christ and knows perfectly well how to console and fortify the hearts of her sons.
ADOPT A PRIEST AND HELP US GET THE WORD OUT!
If you believe in what we are doing, you can help us in several ways:
1) Send this email to any priest you know. We want as many there as possible!
2) Help us support any priest who wants to go. We are assuming 95% of the costs of this retreat to make it easy for priests to attend.
3) Pray for us! Your prayers go a long way, and we humbly ask that God will bless our efforts here.
The Catholic Church and America are at a crucial point in history. We should not be afraid but should be resolved to do our part for the evangelization of this country. And if you’re afraid, you have only to remember the words of Mary, who said, “Go and fear nothing, I will help you!” Our Lady of Champion, pray for us!
God Bless and Fight On!
