Three more weeks and we’ll be through.
Well, maybe.
President Donald Trump said the war in Iran could endure another two or three weeks as the Tehran regime gets closer to “a natural explosion of their oil that’s going to make it impossible for them to really recover from.”
Trump said in an interview Monday on “The Hugh Hewitt Show,” that the United States holds a convincing lead in the conflict, citing its military prowess and economic pressure on Iran.
“One way or the other, we win,” Trump said, adding that the U.S. has already achieved major battlefield victories, according to a story by Newsmax.
Despite continuing fights and ambiguity surrounding a ceasefire, Trump indicated that time is on America’s side.
“We’ve taken out much of what we’d have to do, probably another two weeks, maybe three weeks,” he said, signaling that the conflict may be truly coming to an end.
Iranian naval resources have been dismantled, Trump said, with U.S. forces targeting remaining assets in recent operations.
This is a good sign. End the war, declare victory & bring our troops home. Avoid getting sucked into another foolish war.

The only people who will criticize President Trump for ending the war are the neocons & Israelis who got us into this mess in the 1st place. pic.twitter.com/qMBxmI8ktG
U.S. Central Command confirmed the vanquishing of multiple Iranian boats threatening commercial shipping, underscoring U.S. control of key waterways such as the Strait of Hormuz, the New York Post reported.
Trump also recapped his mantra: Iran will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.
The President contended that previous truces, including the Obama-era nuclear deal, would have put Tehran on a fast track to a nuclear weapon.
As the conflict goes into a pivotal time, Trump outlined the stakes as both national and global, arguing that preventing a nuclear-armed Iran is essential to long-term stability.
“We have all the cards,” he said.
