Fr. Ripperger on Shawn Ryan: Satan Told Him “It’s How I Took Your Government Out”

Articles | July 27, 2026 | by Catholics for Catholics

Last week, the Shawn Ryan Show aired its second interview with renowned exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger after their first discussion published in March attained 4.7 million views. This second interview has already garnered 1.7 million views just three days after publication.

Fr. Ripperger, the founder and Superior General of the Society of the Most Sorrowful Mother (Doloran Fathers) based in Colorado, previously covered a wide range of topics with Shawn Ryan, including aliens, the Epstein files, occultists and secret societies, the attack on the family, the antichrist, what really happens during an exorcism, and more. Ryan was raised Catholic and has hosted other Catholic priests on his program, including Fr. Dan Reehill and Fr. Stephen Gadberry.

Ryan indicated that he had spent a couple of days on site in Denver and “got some heavy work done.” In a separate interview on the Tucker Carlson Show which aired one day after this show, Ryan indicated that he now attends Mass three to four days a week and likes to take his children along with him to breakfast after, and they often ask about the “special bread” that is the Eucharist. He also mentioned having spent time with more than one exorcist over the past few weeks, and that his personal, scary encounters with demonic forces have only further convinced him that the proof of God’s existence is not just faith, but “100% fact.”

While Ryan’s first discussion with Fr. Ripperger centered around a lot of evil, Ryan stated that he intended to make this second interview about “the good side,” but that was not his original plan.

“So, I’m going to be honest,” Ryan said. “I actually came here originally, my plan was a completely different agenda. And I came here to attempt to eviscerate and destroy two politicians within the current administration that I think are going to overexaggerate their allegiance to the Catholic Church to try to sway the Catholic vote,” he said, but he decided against making that the focus of the discussion.

“The last couple weeks I’ve just realized that the battle maybe isn’t over the country, not even over the world. It’s over our souls and over our mind,” he continued.

“And I don’t think it matters who walks into that office. It is going to be somebody under heavy diabolical influence.

“That’s right,” Fr. Ripperger chimed in.

The two turned their discussion to the nature of God, the hierarchy of the angels, how we must actively seek out our guardian angels for assistance, and more. Fr. Ripperger even shared the details of a particular case that was extremely illuminating to Satan’s modus operandi in separating individuals from Christ.

“I convince people that they cannot be separated from the particular good,” Satan told Fr. Ripperger under command during a session.

“You have to be willing to be separated from a particular good in order to give it to God,” Fr. Ripperger interjected to explain to Ryan.

Fr. Ripperger continued the story: “And then he just looks at me and says, ‘It’s how I took Adam and Eve out. It’s how I’m taking your church out. It’s how I took your government

out.’ He said, ‘It’s at the root of every sin and every defect that every human being has.’ And later he said it’s the cause of mediocrity in every single human being.”

Later, Ryan and Fr. Ripperger discussed the combat required to defend the faith. “Why is Christianity the only religion in the world that is acceptable to disparage?” Ryan asked.

As Satan and the demons “influence the world more and more,” Fr. Ripperger replied, “they will use people and they will use the things of this world in order to go after the one religion that they know is true.”

Fr. Ripperger explained that the phrase “turn the other cheek” has been warped and misleads well-meaning Christians into letting evil stand and not confronting it when it is witnessed.

“We have an obligation to fight for and to protect the glory of Christ Himself, Christ the King. We have an obligation to fight for Him. And the fact that we actually don’t do that is based upon this kind of this effeminate unwillingness to battle because we think…we’re just being charitable or we’re just being we’re trying to be Christian and be merciful.”
