The most seminal and powerful figure of the COVID-19 pandemic-era refused to answer questions from committee members at a hearing last week.

After grilling Dr. Anthony S. Fauci over his participation during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Senate committee voted to hold him in contempt for refusing to answer questions.
Fauci, perhaps the most emblematic figure of the pandemic years, face masks and iron-fisted lockdowns, said that committee chairman Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) was trying to wrongly entrap him. Fauci did not answer any one of the committee’s questions.
According to a story by the Washington Post, the panel voted 8-7 to hold Fauci in contempt after he again and again invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to testify in a hearing before the Senate’s government oversight committee last week.
Republicans voted to hold Fauci in contempt, while Democrats continually attempted to stall the outcome and were voted down by the GOP majority. Two Democrats were absent and voted against the resolution by proxy.

Watch as he DECIMATES Fauci and makes him SQUIRM in his seat.
This is how all of our Representatives and Senators in Congress should act.

The Justice Department, which is not forced to prosecute Fauci, did not immediately respond to a request for comment after the vote but told The Washington Post last week that it “seriously reviews all congressional referrals.”
Paul contended that Fauci had no veritable reason to sidestep the committee’s questions in part because President Joe Biden issued a preemptive pardon to Fauci before Biden left office, saying that Fauci had not committed wrongdoing but was at risk of prosecution from the incoming Trump administration.
“Dr. Fauci faced no risk of federal prosecution,” Paul said. “All he had to do was tell the truth.”
