Catholics for Catholics held its second “Catholic Champion Crusade” at the University of Michigan on Tuesday, October 20.
Dozens of students participated, gathering around the discussion table for an open debate and Q&A session on the dangers of Islam, Sharia law and its incompatibility with the U.S. Constitution.
This second stop was led by Catholic author, philosopher, and podcaster Tim Gordon, who, alongside John Yep, President of Catholics for Catholics, responded with conviction to some of the most provocative questions posed by the students. As usual, the Crusade concluded with the public prayer of the Holy Rosary.

John Yep, president of Catholics for Catholics, shared that “one of the greatest ways to strengthen your own faith is to put yourself out there and share it with others. The enthusiasm of these young people and their desire for the truth are truly inspiring.
We’re so proud to have brought our second Catholic Champion Crusade of the fall to the University of Michigan. We addressed the threat of political Islam and how the Catholic Church has historically opposed and condemned the religious errors of Islam.
Yep continued: “One of the highlights for me was receiving a question from a fallen-away Catholic. This young lady had very different opinions, but at the end of our conversation, I gave her a Rosary. Her reaction was incredible! She immediately recalled her childhood, attending Catholic school, and participating in the May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
This is what we do at Catholics for Catholics. We’re building a new movement of Catholic patriots in America – one soul at a time!”
CforC will be announcing its next stop soon. For more information about the upcoming Catholic Champion Crusades, visit CforC.com/events.
Early Americans weren’t immigrants, but travelers creating a sovereign nation. This country will only survive with a Christian population, if that goes down so will the rule of law. Important questions were asked today at the University of Michigan. @USAYep @timotheeology https://t.co/TIrpwGrdyn
