Catholics for Catholics is excited to announce the launch of our first two events of the Catholic Champion Crusade Fall 2026 Campaign taking place on different college campuses in the United States!
It is fitting that we make this announcement on the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of Champion, commemorating the only Church-approved Marian apparition in our nation, which took place on October 9, 1859, in Champion, Wisconsin.
It is in honor of this Marian apparition and Our Lady’s call to evangelization that these Crusades bear their name.
It was then that Our Lady told Servant of God Adele Brice,
“Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation…Teach them their catechism, how to sign themselves with the sign of the Cross, and how to approach the sacraments; that is what I wish you to do.”
Our Mother was clear: She understood that we needed to evangelize this country, and that is what Catholics for Catholics is going to be doing, literally.
Next week on October 15th, we will have our first Crusade at the University of Madison, right here in the state where Our Lady of Champion appeared 167 years ago! Learn more >
Our second event will be October 20th at the University of Michigan.
During these campus stops, we will be hitting the theme that we are fundamentally a Christian nation. These events will consist of a talk by a renowned speaker followed by a Q&A session from the students. We’ll end with a rosary rally led by a local Catholic priest.
The mission of this campaign is to bring young adults into the Catholic faith and inspire those already Catholic to deepen their commitment to Christ and His Church.
Catholic author & evangelist, Jesse Romero and Fr. Heilman will be joining us at our first event in Madison, and Catholic philosopher & author, Timothy Gordon will speak at our second event in Michigan! You can learn more about the upcoming events at CforC.com/events.

We have an exciting week ahead at Catholics for Catholics in Wisconsin! We’ll begin by hosting our Champion Priests Retreat, followed by the launch of our Catholic Champion Crusades! And this is just the beginning! We look forward to announcing the next leg of this campaign very soon.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. May Our Lady of Champion guide and protect this mission as we work to bring more souls to Christ!
