Well, not all was carnage and losses for the GOP during the midterm elections.
Michael Alfonso, a former hard-hat wearing construction worker and student of the University of Wisconsin, is set to become the youngest member of Congress at 26, after winning a key Wisconsin House seat.
This January, Alfonso, a Republican, who is also a devout practicing Catholic, pro-life and America-First, will go to Washington after engaging in a campaign aimed on turning in affordability and recuperating the American Dream, two priorities he stressed throughout his campaign.
“As the youngest member of Congress and a new dad, I have a personal stake in our future, and I’m going to Washington with one job: put Wisconsin and America first by making life affordable, restoring the American Dream, and putting the prosperity of American citizens above all else,” the congressman-elect told Fox News Digital.
Wedded to Duffy’s daughter Evita, Alfonso bested Democratic challenger Fred Clark, a prior Wisconsin state lawmaker, in Tuesday’s election to represent Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, a seat that was formerly held by his father-in-law, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

With his electoral triumph, Alfonso will replace Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., who chose against seeking re-election to go in for the Wisconsin governorship.
Born in February 2000, Alfonso works as an accountant for the Diocese of Superior and lives in Hayward, Wis., with his wife and their 5-month-old daughter.
Prior to going into politics, Alfonso toiled in the construction and concrete industry while attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also did a stint in Florida, where he worked as a producer for “The Dan Bongino Show.”
Calling him a “MAGA warrior” and a “young ‘STAR,'” Trump endorsed Alfonso in May.
Alfonso answered by celebrating the president’s endorsement as the “greatest honor” and vowed to support Trump’s agenda in Congress.
