He defeated pro-abortion candidate Shawn Wilson and is expected to uphold Louisiana’s protections for unborn children and their mothers..
NOTRE DAME PRESIDENT REVEREND JOHN I. JENKINS TO STEP DOWN AFTER 19 YEARS
Rev. John I. Jenkins, the current president of Notre Dame University, is leaving his position after almost 20 years, and his successor is yet to be announced. Jenkins, a priest from Congregation of Holy Cross, was acknowledged for enhancing research, diversity and ensuring in-person education during the pandemic. Nevertheless, he was criticized for a few of his decisions, including providing former President Barack Obama with an honorary degree and approving a homosexual film festival on campus. Jenkins will resume his duties in teaching and ministry after the 2023-2024 academic year.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD PERMANENTLY CLOSES ANOTHER ABORTION BUSINESS
Planned Parenthood has closed nine facilities in Iowa after a 40 Days for Life campaign, leaving the organization struggling. The latest to close is the Council Bluffs location, which is the 146th of its kind to shut down after a 40 Days for Life event. Campaigners that had been praying for years for the facility to be abolished celebrated the news.

MINNESOTA WOMAN WHO ADVOCATED FOR PALESTINIANS WAS MURDERED BY HAMAS
American-Israeli citizen Cindy Flash and her Israeli husband, Igal Flash, were killed during the recent Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. Cindy was known for advocating Palestinian rights, and the couple lived on a communal kibbutz near the Gaza border. During the attack, they were killed while seeking shelter in a safe room, as terrorists used explosives and guns. Their deaths were among 1,300 fatalities, with Cindy being among 27 US citizens killed, making it one of the deadliest attacks on Americans since 9/11.
