The 2008 nomination for the Democratic Party was supposed to be a coronation for Hillary Clinton. Somebody forgot to tell Barack Obama that. Obama’s style and charisma won the day, and Democrat voters elected him to be their flagbearer in overwhelming fashion. Hillary just ran into a steamroller and lost to a more empathetic candidate. Of course, in 2012, Obama ran virtually unopposed for his party’s nomination. In the 2008 and 2012 general elections, President Obama cruised to election against Senator John McCain and Businessman Mitt Romney. 2012, it seems, was also the last US election that was not rigged.

It is generally understood by political pundits that Joe Biden stood aside from running for president in 2016, allowing for Hillary Clinton’s run. Though by all standards, it should have been the incumbent Vice President and career politician’s prerogative, the word came down from kingmaker Barack Obama that this was not Joe’s time. Further, recall the passion and excitement that surrounded Bernie Sanders, the Independent Socialist Senator from Vermont. Senator Sanders had young voters invigorated in a way that made him optimistic about his chances for success in the Democratic Primary. Something happened, though, on his way to the nomination. A corrupt Democrat Primary. As exposed in the Russian hacking of Hillary Clinton’s campaign emails, Democrat National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, in league with others, tipped the scales for Clinton versus Sanders. What the Russian’s exposed was confirmed in an article in Politico Magazine written by former DNC Chair Donna Brazile.
Brazile, who took over for the compromised Wasserman Schultz, wrote in Politico Magazine that she found an agreement between Hillary’s campaign and the DNC which gave Clinton “control (of) the party’s finances, strategy, and all the money raised” in exchange for taking care of the massive debt leftover from President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign. When Brazile took over she found that the DNC was $24 million in debt. Clinton’s campaign, according to Brazile, assumed that debt with its own fundraising. It wasn’t illegal, Brazile said, “but it sure looked unethical…This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party’s integrity.” In this case, how is this not synonymous with saying the election’s integrity? “Hillary for America (the campaign) and the Hillary Victory Fund (its joint fundraising vehicle with the DNC) had taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016, and had placed the party on an allowance,” according to Brazile. Normally, candidates take over their respective party’s operations after securing the nomination, but Brazile wrote that Clinton had done so almost 15 months premature. In that position, Clinton wrapped up the nomination in what was a foregone conclusion. It is worthwhile to note that Brazile was never a pro-Sanders idealogue. She was a friend of the Clintons and was, in fact, dismissed from her role as CNN contributor after she was discovered leaking debate questions to the Clinton campaign.
In 2020, poor Bernie was passed over again. Bernie again engaged the public’s attention and created a passion that former Vice President Biden just could not. While this effort to subvert the Sanders campaign does not have the financial smoking gun of the 2016 effort, it is not difficult to recall that Senator Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts were splitting the anti Joe Biden vote. Out of fear that the “socialist” label would be used against Sanders in the general election, Senator Warren was encouraged by party leaders to stay in the race longer than warranted, in order to prevent a majority of non-Biden voters from coalescing around Sanders. This was the latest case of party elites, and not the people, choosing the candidate.
Then on to the 2020 general election. It does no good to relitigate this, but does anyone really believe that Joe Biden received 12 million votes more than Barack Obama did in his re-election year? Biden wins 477 counties as compared to Obama’s 873 in 2012, and Trump’s 2497 in 2020. Biden lost 18 of 19 bellwether states, while Trump and Obama won 18/19 in their respective years. Where there is smoke there is fire, and it appears that in ways illegal and unethical, the Democrat apparatus did whatever was necessary to prevent a Trump re-election. Water leaks in Georgia, preventing vote counting supervisors in battleground states, malfunctioning booths in pro-Trump parts of Arizona, Zuckerberg drop boxes for mail in and harvested ballots. It defies credulity. Nevertheless…
Arriving to 2024, we find that the primary process was shut down on the Democratic side. Candidates struggled to get themselves on ballots, the party refused any debates and allowed President Biden to run for the nomination from his basement. The clearly deteriorating Biden was hidden from voters who comprise the Democrat Party. In an effort to guarantee that Biden, a puppet president, would win the nomination, the oligarchs comprising the brain trust of the Democrat Party; Barack Obama, George Soros, and others forced Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from the party.
What happened to the plan? The Trump/Biden debate. That is where the hidin’ Biden strategy came off the rails. One of two things: Either Donald Trump was not supposed to accept that debate invitation because of capricious rules imposed by the President’s team – forcing the debate, or it is possible that prior to the debate the party’s interior polls showed Biden losing to Trump by a sufficiently large margin that they could not fudge to win. Either way, Biden was never supposed to be on that stage and was supposed to run from the relative safety of the White House. Either Trump aced their strategy, or the party bosses strung Biden out to dry. Regardless, the Democrat Party seems to be run by a backroom mafia and not by folks registered to vote. When asked about this, two-time stooge Senator Sanders admitted that the DNC did assure Biden the nomination by not opening up the nomination process.
So, they remove Biden, apparently to throw in with Vice President Harris, who received exactly zero votes in this year’s primary, but who the party finds compliant. Despite calling Donald Trump a tyrant for the last 10 years, these are the people who have a record of subverting the will of the people. They have a way of allowing the oligarchy to decide. Isn’t that the true threat to democracy?
