A Personal Letter from President Trump to Catholics for Catholics!

Dear Friends,

We received a great surprise in the mail. With an envelope addressed to Catholics for Catholics and bearing the seal of the President of the United States, I knew it was legit. “Melania and I”….it began. Allow me to share with you some of the lines that President Donald Trump wrote to us.

“Dear Catholics for Catholics,

Melania and I are grateful for your continued support and encouragement. Your love of God and Country is evident in everything you do. We admire your dedication to preserving America’s founding principles through your faith. You have realized God’s grace and righteousness by continuing to seek and share His wisdom.”

Before I skip to and read you the end let me pause there for second. Those words from the former President and First Lady are meant for you all. The gratitude and admiration that they express is directed towards you. You are what makes Catholics for Catholics legit. How so?

1. YOUR PRAYERS! Because of you we have now sent nearly 800 Mass Cards to Mar-a-Lago through our 2,024 Masses for Trump Campaign. This timely campaign launched just weeks before the attempted assassination may have saved his life. But most importantly they may save his soul which is the most important thing for all of us. Because of your creativity we launched our “National St. Michael and President Trump Billboard Campaign”: This singular image of the St. Michael the Archangel protecting President Trump is now on billboards in nearly every one of the swing states. Here at Catholics for Catholics we love President Trump. Of course we are acutely aware of where he as a non-Catholic falls short of Catholic teaching. We don’t ignore it. Rather, we are impelled to continue to show forth the beauty and power of our Catholic faith to him and those around him. And believe me, we have publicly witnessed to him and privately expressed our concerns. The former President closed off his letter with the following words:

“You should take great pride in upholding the sacred Catholic values of love, compassion and charity. May God continue to bless you all,   

Sincerely.                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Donald J. Trump.”

I couldn’t agree more with that statement. We should all take great pride in our sacred Catholic values. When you’re proud of something, you’re often times ready to die for that something. There are at least a couple things worth dying for; your Catholic Faith and your Country. On July 13th President Trump showed he was willing to die for our Country. Let us pray that one day soon he will discover our Catholic Faith and also be ready to die for this.
