Statement on Launch of New Group
Catholics for Trump

Today, September 4th, 2024, President Donald J. Trump announced “Catholics for Trump”, a coalition committed to safeguarding the vital principles of religious liberty and defending family values that President Donald J. Trump has ardently championed. Catholics for Trump will stand with President Trump in his mission to continue building a nation where the rights of every individual to practice their faith freely is protected.

Former Senator Rick Santorum, one of the leaders of this new group, summed it up well saying, “With such high stakes, we are blessed to have the easiest decision in modern history as to which candidate for president has a record in public office more consistent with those teachings.  That’s why I will vote for and support Donald Trump and encourage my fellow Catholics to likewise.” – Former Senator Rick Santorum

As a Catholic group that has been on the front lines of this battle for months now to protect Catholic and American values through the election of the Donald Trump, the news of more Catholic leaders like Santorum speaking out to say the obvious is encouraging. Newly arrived reinforcements is what we need to carry President Trump over the finish line.

We at Catholics for Catholics will continue to back President Trump as we have done already through the following:

1. Catholic Prayer for Trump at Mar-a-Lago: Our formal backing of Trump took place on March 19, 2024, at the “Catholic Prayer for Trump” held at the home of the former President at Mar-a-Lago. This internationally covered event, assembled some of the most well known Catholic leaders in the Country such as General Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, Jim Caviezel, Michael Knowles and others as we began our efforts with prayer through the public recitation of the Holy Rosary. 2. The 2,024 Masses for Trump Campaign: This timely prayer campaign, launched just weeks before the attempted assassination Trump, has seen overwhelming support as nearly 1k Masses have been offered at Catholic parishes for President Trump and the First Lady. LEARN MORE
3. The National “St. Michael and President Trump Billboard Campaign”: This singular image of the St. Michael the Archangel protecting President Trump is now on billboards in nearly every one of the swing states. Most notably one of these billboards stands proudly in Butler, PA to welcome the President when he boldly returns there in October. LEARN MORE
4. Catholic Ballot Chasing: Catholics for Catholics is honored to be the Catholic ally of Turning Point USA, the largest activist force in the Nation where we have helped to assemble thousands of ballot chasers across the Country to zero in on disengaged Catholic voters. We launched this campaign at the People’s Convention in Detroit in June with President Trump. LEARN MORE

In a personal letter that President Trump and the First Lady recently wrote to us to thank us for our efforts, they said, “You should take pride in upholding the sacred Catholic values of love, compassion, and charity.”  We couldn’t agree more and as we approach the greatest election in American history, Let us continue to work as if it all depended on us, and to pray as if it all depended on God.
