The conflict between Israel and Iran is affecting MAGA supporters who are worried that it can drag the United States into a war.
One of those is Steve Bannon, the former White House advisor turned podcaster. He said in the War Room Friday that when you add-up the conflicts in Ukraine and now the Middle East, you can have disputes of international implications.
“We are in World War Three. I’ve told you this on the show now for years,” Bannon said, adding that Israel’s strike against Iran was decisive. “That was a decapitation strike. And it appears to have been very successful.”
“We don’t oppose Israel being Israel first. We get it. But we have to be America first. We have to do it. Right now, this Third World War is all encompassing,” Bannon said. “Just like the First World War and the Second World War. And it’s playing out in the streets of the United States of America.”

Bannon said: “The bottom line is we cannot be dragged into a war on the Eurasian land mass in the Middle East or in Eastern Europe, in the Middle East or Ukraine. We cannot be dragged into another land war.”
Matt Boyle of Breitbart told Politico of the strikes, “what the president does from here could end up defining his presidency. He has to balance protecting America’s greatest ally in the region in Israel with avoiding getting the USA drawn into war.”
According to Politico, others in the MAGA-sphere are more candid. Breaking Points host Saagar Enjeti trained his ire on Trump Friday morning.
“Trump has now praised Israel’s strike, affirmed US material support; and Israeli media is reporting his public opposition was a disinformation campaign to mislead Iran,” he wrote. “So in other words, Trump, not Israel, has made a mockery of all of us who wanted to avoid this war.”
