Still, the President said he is hopeful there will be negotiations.

As the world watches President Donald Trump’s next move in the Israel-Iran war, he said he would make his final decision whether to strike Iran in “the next two weeks.”
But he is still hoping for negotiations, he added, according to The New York Post.
“Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters, reading a statement directly from Trump during her daily briefing.
Leavitt stressed that Iran currently has the capability of creating a nuclear weapon — and could do so with the directive of their Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In the meantime, a barrage of Iranian missiles hit a hospital in southern Israel, wounding at least 240 on Thursday.
Israel Katz, Israel’s Defense Minister criticized Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and said the military “has been instructed and knows that in order to achieve all of its goals, this man absolutely should not continue to exist,” according to Newsmax.
On the other hand, U.S. officials said earlier this week that President Donald Trump had vetoed an Israeli plan to kill Khamenei. Trump later said there were no plans to kill him, “at least not for now.”

Still, despite the war of words between Trump and Khamenei, the American President is pondering on an extraordinary move: permitting the beleaguered leaders from Iran to visit the White House and negotiate with him.
“They want to meet,” Mr. Trump said. “But it’s a little late to meet. But they want to meet and they want to come to the White House. So we’ll see. I may do that.”
Nevertheless, while diplomatic paths are considered, Israel struck Iran’s Arak heavy water reactor, targeting that country’s nuclear site. Israel has been aiming at Iran’s nuclear centers, looking to cripple them.
But the war of missiles is taking heavy tolls on both sides. A human rights Iranian group said that at least 639 people (263 civilians) have been killed in Iran and more than 1,300 wounded. Iran has countered by launching hundreds of drones and missiles, killing at least 24 people in Israel, including Christians and wounding hundreds.
