As the war between Israel and Iran perilously escalates, two MAGA leaders have become the face of the resistance to a U.S. involvement in the fight.
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon, the ex-White House strategist are becoming the loudest voices against any U.S. involvement in the Middle East conflict.
On Monday, Carlson went off on some of the war hawks in President Donald Trump’s circle, saying that they were loud-mouthed about the U.S. getting involved in Israel’s war against Iran, according to Newsweek. Bannon said that any involvement by the United States in the conflict has to be stopped.
According to Newsweek, Carlson and Bannon are at odds with Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Mark Levin. Levin allegedly cheered when Israel attacked Iran last week.
Israel and Iran have been trading missiles, causing hundreds of deaths on both sides. Still, Iran has been receiving the worst part.

On Monday, Carlson told Bannon: “The point is, if you think that saying, ‘Hey, let’s focus on my country, where I was born, where my family’s been for hundreds of years, that was the promise of the last election, please do it,’ if you think that’s hate, you know, you’ve really lost perspective, I guess, is what I would say.”
Carlson followed by talking about national policy themes in the U.S. that he would like the Trump administration to take care of, like immigration and the fentanyl crisis.
“It’s like, all of that is now ignored because a leader of a country who does not have majority support in that country … wants a course of action that includes the United States and I just disagree,” Carlson said, referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Anyway, I think it’s going to happen. Who cares what I think.”
