Governor Gavin Newsom made it clear that he wants to turn his state into an abortion haven.
In the quest to turn the state of California into an “abortion haven,” top schools like the University of California are surreptitiously adding the practice to the school’s medical insurance plans.
LifeSiteNews reported that UC pupils are automatically enrolled in the school’s health care plan, which is very difficult to avoid or drop out of.
California has a history of being one of the states that most push abortion. In 2019, lawmakers approved legislation that obligated the state’s public universities to dispense abortion pills, according to LifeSiteNews.
California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law that required all universities to provide chemical abortions. The governor has vowed to turn his state into an “abortion haven.”
“While community colleges do not require students to have health insurance, private universities often auto-enroll students in their plans. Likewise, domestic students at CSU are not required to purchase a university health plan, but international students are, unless they can show proof of other coverage,” wrote LifeSiteNews. “CSU also requires on-site clinics to dispense abortion pills, as well as “transgender services,” like hormones.”
Still, in universities like UC, students are automatically enrolled in the school’s health insurance. The plans services include abortion.
According to LifeSiteNews, predictably, on-campus abortions quickly began rising. The California governor also signed legislation into law allowing minors to get secret abortions while using their parents’ health insurance, and offers incentives for medical students to become abortionists.
