A top brass Biden State Department official accused a high-ranking Vatican prelate of denying the “full humanity” of people who identify as LGBT, according to The Daily Wire.
The remarks were made by Jessica Stern, who worked for the Biden State Department as a Special Envoy to Advance the Human Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Persons.
The Daily Wire reported that Stern made the comments prior to a trip to the Vatican. The Wire obtained the comments through emails acquired through the Center to Advance Security in America (CASA).
Once President Donald Trump took office in January, Stern left her post. During her time with the State Department, she travelled to six continents, marching next to a self-identified “transvestite sl*t,” attending pride parades and working with progressive activists with the aim of influencing the policies of foreign governments. One of those trips was to the Vatican.
In an August 2023 email, the Biden State Department chided Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State. Biden State Department officials admonished Parolin for his stance on LGBT-related issues in an August 1, 2023, email, the subject line of which read “Special Envoy Stern at the Vatican.”
One of the advisors to Stern, who was unnamed, wrote: “Something to be mindful of though: [REDACTED] made it clear that he has not seen eye-to-eye with Cardinal Parolin and believes that the Cardinal has yet to see the ‘full humanity’ of LGBTQI+ persons.”
“CASA has uncovered documents shedding light on far-left activist Jessica Stern’s history of attacking the Catholic Church and improper use of taxpayer resources during her time as the Biden State Department LGBT Special Envoy,” CASA Director James Fitzpatrick told The Daily Wire. “This is just another attempt by Biden administration officials advocating to impose their radical LGBT ideology on the teachings of the Catholic Church.”
