Victory For Life
On Tuesday July 22, Catholic Bishop Emeritus of Tyler, Joseph Strickland, shared on his X account a picture from a Planned Parenthood in Tyler that has permanently shut down.
“What WAS Planned Parenthood, Tyler, Texas. The sign on the door says “closed July 17, 2025”. Let us pray that these centers that promote death will continue to close across the country. Pray for all the pro life pregnancy centers that will be assisting mothers seeking help” said Bishop Strickland.

“Planned Parenthood has not officially commented on the Tyler closure according to its social media or web site, but the radical abortion organization has previously cited financial pressures and legal challenges as factors in other shutdowns” stated LifeNews.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life, also celebrated this Pro-Life victory: “BREAKING: Planned Parenthood in Tyler, TX has SHUT DOWN! Praise God!”

According to Associated Press (AP), three years after Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion funding is strained, leading to clinic closures even in states where abortion remains legal.
Since the 2022 Dobbs decision, 105 clinics have closed, 29 in states with total abortion bans. Funding shortages, driven by reduced donations and federal cuts like the Department of Health and Human Services withholding $27.5 million, threaten further closures, particularly for Planned Parenthood, which could lose Medicaid funding under a proposed Trump budget bill, potentially closing half its abortion-providing clinics.
“Increased demand for travel and telehealth abortions”, adds the AP report, especially “medication-based” (misoprostol and mifepristone deadly pills), adds financial pressure, with groups like Fund Texas Choice seeing call volumes rise from 40 to over 200 monthly. Pro-abortion activists, say that independent clinics, providing nearly 60% of U.S. abortions, face significant challenges, creating “reproductive health care deserts”.
“Reproductive health care deserts” are in reality – an oasis of life for thousands of innocent babies that will survive the abortion genocide. Pro-life activists continue to fighting and pushing for more legislations to protect unborn human lives since the moment of conception and make America Pro-Life again.
