The protestors said the feds are threatening the breadbasket of the nation, while the Trump administration counters that the place was used to cultivate pot.

In the latest turn in the immigration debacle, groups of protestors clashed with federal agents during a raid on a Southern California farm that was allegedly used to cultivate cannabis.
According to Fox News, several officers arrived at the Glass House Farms, a state-licensed cannabis center which is considered illegal under federal law, in Camarillo. Authorities had a warrant for illegal employees, Fox News has learned. Officers conducted another raid at another Glass House Farm in Carpinteria.
The Daily Wire reported that left-leaning activists and legislators claim that the Trump administration’s Thursday raids that were aimed at cannabis farms are proof that the president’s immigration enforcement operation is “self-sabotage,” ripping workers away from critical American food supply chains.
Remember that ~300,000 illegal children disappeared during the Biden administration? We already know where some of them are…

Progressive social media influencer Harry Sisson, who garnered a large following after making videos in support of former President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign, accused the Trump administration of “arresting farmers,” according to The Daily Wire.
“My God… Trump’s goons are throwing tear gas at people and arresting farmers in California during an immigration raid. Trump has turned this country into a military state,” Sisson said. “This is what happens when a wannabe dictator gets elected.”
The White House countered by bashing progressives for claiming that the Trump administration was threatening the food supply by going after suspected illegal immigrants working at cannabis farms.
“Marijuana is not the ‘backbone of our food chain,’” wrote White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson.
“It’s a marijuana facility. What will we do without illegals to pick our weed? Moron,” the official “Rapid Response” account for the White House said in response to Allen’s post.

Back at the cannabis center, detectives found nine unaccompanied migrant children, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital on Friday, bringing up-to-date earlier reporting that eight such children were there. She added, “So glad our law enforcement could rescue another child.”
Fox News reported that Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott said Thursday the facility was “under investigation for child labor violations.”
Scott posted a photo to X on Friday afternoon captioned: “These are the juveniles found in the marijuana facility – almost all unaccompanied, one as young as 14. California, are you ready to partner with us to stop child exploitation?”
The detention of minors at the cannabis plant comes at a time when experts and observers are discussing the “conveyer belt” of rape and abuse of vulnerable migrant children in the US under President Joe Biden’s border free-for-all to, now being cleared up by President Trump, according to The New York Post.
According to The Post, following federal “border czar” Tom Homan’s recent expose on Miranda Divine’s “Pod Force One” podcast that children had been trafficked across the country with little supervision before Trump took office, whistleblowers have exposed how the chilling scheme works.

Between 2019 and 2023, 448,000 unaccompanied minors were found by the Department of Homeland Security, according to its figures, who were then transferred into the US.
Some of the children, often younger than 5, arrive with little more than phone numbers scribbled on their arms or clothes.
Most of the children-smuggling operation was a scam, executed by cartels who saw Biden’s lax border policies — which saw 8 million attempt to cross into the US during his time in office, per official figures — as a chance.
“The smugglers would drop off kids at the border, Customs and Border Protection couldn’t do anything with them, they have to get them to the Office of Refugee Resettlement within 72 hours.
“Once they get there, non-government contractors [private companies] look at the paperwork and say, ‘This is their sponsor, this is where they are to be delivered,’” Morgan Lerette, a former Blackwater contractor and Army intelligence officer, told The Post.
