Gen. Mike Flynn, former National Security Advisor, told Steve Bannon that an internal investigation has revealed the possibility that Israeli border forces knew of the incoming Hamas attack.
A former presidential security advisor and retired U.S. Army general said he learned that an internal investigation is revealing that a section in the Israeli forces, was told to hold back during Hamas’ attack on Israeli citizens, a tragic event that plunged both countries into war.
Gen. Mike Flynn, who served as a presidential advisor during President Donald Trump’s first term, told Steve Bannon during an interview in Bannon’s War Room on Wednesday that an internal investigation is looking more deeply into the Oct. 7 attack.
“Israel is going to have to do some soul-searching. The 7th of October was a day, there is still an investigation going on,” Flynn told Bannon. “I have already heard from some of the soldiers that were told to stand down, the exact hours, so something bad happened. It was an inside thing. That’s a bombshell right there.”
Flabbergasted, Bannon asked Flynn: “Hold on. You are saying that your sources are telling you on the investigation that they are trying to slow down, to slow walk over there because we are coming up on the second anniversary of the [7th of October], you are saying there is testimony, there is documents or actual evidence that certain elements of the Israeli military were told to stand down?”
Flynn replied: “Something went wrong. Steve, I have personally walked that border. I have been down at those areas. I know the details of how the Israelis, one of the most secure borders in the world, how they do their operations. Something broke down… and it wasn’t because of mistakes.”
Bannon furthered into the Israel-Gaza war, saying that the conflict is threatening to enmesh the U.S. in another war. Flynn agreed, mentioning America’s involvement in Beirut, when in 1983 an American peacekeeping force made up mostly of marines were attacked by terrorists in their barracks; 241 servicemen lost their lives.
“When I hear occupy Gaza, I hear American troops to occupy, because the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) can’t do it. like in Bagdad,” Bannon told Flynn. “Just like the Israelis couldn’t defend themselves when they started a war with the Persians and they didn’t have the offensive capability and they knew that. Netanyahu knew that. Here, there is no possibility they can occupy Gaza.”

“Let that sink in”
Bannon and Flynn spoke about the internal struggles Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu is having with the Israeli Security Cabinet, which opposes an occupation of Gaza.
John C. Yep, President of Catholics For Catholics, said that Flynn’s comments on Israel were indeed a “bombshell.”
“The former National Security Advisor to President Trump has just dropped a bombshell. General Michael Flynn has called the October 7th attack on Israel an ‘inside job’. Let that sink in.” Yep said. “To put it bluntly, people within the Israeli government knew about this attack and allowed it to happen. Whistleblowers have even told Gen Flynn that they were told to stand down during the attack. The humanitarian crisis taking place in Gaza with hundreds of people dying everyday can only be understood through this lens.”
“The picture gets even uglier when senior officials within the IDF itself have pushed back on President Netanyahu latest idea to occupy Gaza,” Yep said. “These senior Israeli military leaders as well as the growing number of Americans who are waking up know full well that this task of “occupying Gaza” can only be completed with US Involvement.”
Yep said, “The America First movement needs to wake up. Of course, we won’t turn our backs on the rest of the world as President Trump continues to show with his leadership on the world stage. At the same time, we must not allow ourselves to be played and unnecessarily brought into this grotesque situation.”
