Only 32% of Americans approve of Israel’s siege, according to the poll.

Israel and its Prime have sunk at an all-time low in the U.S., as a Gallup poll found that just 32 percent of Americans approve of their war on the Gaza Strip, a 10-percentage point drop from a September 2024 poll and the lowest yet since Gallup first asked the question in November 2023.
According to LifeSiteNews, the Gallup poll, performed from July 7 to July 21, found 60 percent of Americans disapproved of Israel’s actions in Gaza, an increase from 48 percent in the September 2024 poll.
As expected, the poll shows a severe opinionated rift as just 8 percent of Democrats and 25 percent of Independents are in favor of Israel’s actions in Gaza, while 71 percent of Republicans are sympathetic to Israel’s campaign.
The poll showed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s popularity rating was at its lowest in the United States., with 52 percent of Americans having an unfavorable view of the Israeli leader. Just 29 percent of Americans said they had a good view of Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for his role in war crimes in Gaza.
In a separate matter, the Gallup poll questioned Americans if they were for Israel’s recent and brief war with Iran. Only 38 percent said they were in favor, while 54 percent disapproved. Just 12 percent of Democrats approved the action against Iran, while 78 percent of Republicans were supportive.
As the humanitarian chaos in Palestine worsens and people have started to starve due to the Israeli campaign, the American support for their siege is waning among Americans.
