President Donald Trump canceled her details, citing that Vice-Presidents only get six months after leaving office and she was way overdue.

No more Secret Service protection for Kamala Harris. Period.
President Donald Trump revoked former Vice-President Harris’ protection on Thursday after he became aware she had the detachment beyond the six months that former vice presidents normally receive when they leave office, according to The Washington Times.
Only former presidents keep Secret Service protection for the remainder of their lives after leaving the White House.
A command signed by President Joe Biden before he left the presidency prolonged her Secret Service protection by one more year. By law, Harris’ protection was supposed to conclude on July 21.
Gavin Newsom, California’s governor and a Trump nemesis, and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass spoke on Thursday about the subject.
“This is another act of revenge following a long list of political retaliation in the form of firings, the revoking of security clearances and more,” Ms. Bass said in a statement. “This puts the former Vice President in danger and I look forward to working with the Governor to make sure Vice President Harris is safe in Los Angeles.”
During last year’s heated presidential campaign, the brass in the Democratic party called for taking away the Secret Service protection from Trump. They alleged that he could, at the time, be convicted by a New York court on felony falsification of business records.

Yet the security protection was never revoked. Harris’ protection cancellation is not the first Trump revoke from the former Biden administration. He canceled Hunter, Biden’s son, and Ashley, his daughter.
According to The Times, Hunter Biden had up to 18 agents assigned to him, while Ms. Biden had 13 agents before the detail was pulled in March.
