The President said Hamas has about three or four days to accept a ceasefire.

Hamas has only a few more days to make up its mind if it will accept an armistice with Israel, said President Donald Trump.
“We’re going to do about three or four days,” Mr. Trump told reporters before heading to Quantico, according to The Washington Times. “We’ll see how it is. … Israel is all signed up. We’re just waiting for Hamas, and Hamas is either going to be doing it or not, and if it’s not, it’s going to be a very sad end.”
Trump said Hamas must return the hostages and put an end to terrorism—or face the consequences. “With Hamas, we want it very simple. We want the hostages back immediately, and we want some good behavior,” Trump said. “You don’t get simpler.”
Trump’s comments come after he revealed a peace treaty along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Mediators from Qatar and Egypt have given the peace plan to Hamas via negotiators. But Trump warned that if Hamas did not accept the deal, he would let Israel “go and do what they have to do.”
“If Hamas rejects your plan Mr. President… then Israel will finish the job by itself,” said @netanyahu @POTUS says they are close to a peace deal and are waiting on Hamas to accept.

“We’ve killed about 25,000 Hamas,” he said. “So certainly, they paid a big price for Oct. 7. And this is a whole new group. … We hope that they’re going to have a nice, calm life. Maybe it won’t happen, but if it does, it’ll be one of the greatest things ever to happen. We’ll have actual peace in the Middle East.”
Trump’s plan includes the release of the living hostages within 48 hours, laying down arms and leaving the enclave. It also included a traditional government for the area, with an Arab-led stabilization force that would take over the region. Meanwhile, Israeli troops would leave the area.
The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have threatened that talks to regularize relations with Israel would cease if the Jewish state doesn’t end its attacks on Gaza. That means the Abraham Accords, Mr. Trump’s prized foreign policy accomplishment from his first term, could be on rocky ground.
