President Donald Trump and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair wrote the 20-point armistice.

Almost two years after the bloody conflict between Israel and Gaza started, President Donald Trump said a peace deal between both sides is finally coming to an end.
“We’re at a minimum, very, very close. And I think we’re beyond very close,” Trump said alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, according to The Washington Times.
Nevertheless, the President warned that Hamas has still not accepted a peace treaty and cautioned of harrowing consequences if the group does not cave in to the peace terms.
“It’s time for Hamas to accept the terms,” Trump said. “And if Hamas rejects the deal – and they’re the only ones left, everyone else has accepted it – but I have a feeling that we’re going to have a positive answer. But if not, as you know, Bibi, you’d have our full backing to do what you would have to do. Everyone understands that the ultimate result must be the elimination of any danger posed in the region and the danger is caused by Hamas.”
Netanyahu said he is right in line with Trump’s peace treaty.
U.S. President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House today and following their sit-down meeting Trump said they were quote "beyond very close" to a peace deal in Gaza.

“I support your plan to end the war in Gaza, which achieves our war aims,” Netanyahu said. “It will bring back to Israel all our hostages, dismantle Hamas’ military capabilities and its political rule and ensure that Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel.”
In addition, Netanyahu echoed Trump’s admonition to Hamas. “If Hamas rejects your plan, Mr. President, or if they supposedly accept it and then basically do everything to counter it, then Israel will finish the job by itself,” Netanyahu said. “This can be done the easy way or it can be done the hard way, but it will be done.”
According to The Times, the peace proposal, made up of 20 points, include the release of all hostages held by Hamas within 72 hours, including the bodies of those who died while in captivity, and the retreat of Israeli forces in a phased withdrawal to specific lines.
Once the war ends, a transitional, international “Board of Peace” would supervise the renewal of Gaza, according to one of the points. Trump would chair the armistice board.
Despite being busy and not his decision, Trump said he would chair the board. “The leaders of the Arab world and Israel and everybody involved asked me to do this,” Trump said. He says former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who helped create the new plan, would also serve on the board.
