Both were arrested. Officials said the attacks could have easily turned deadly

In the most recent of a series of attacks towards ICE, two illegal aliens rammed their cars against immigration officers in the Chicago area this week, in a couple of different almost-deadly incidents.
The Department of Homeland Security said Thursday night that the attacks were stimulated by anti-ICE rhetoric from Illinois’ top Democrat bosses, according to Newsmax.
Both attacks happened Tuesday during targeted enforcement operations. ICE Officials said the illegals intentionally weaponized their cars in an attempt to injure the officers.
The DHS said the attacks could easily have turned deadly. “Thankfully none of our law enforcement was killed because of these deranged criminals’ attacks,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
Newsmax reported that the first attack happened in Norridge, Illinois, when Miguel Escareno De Loera, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, crashed into an ICE vehicle two times before losing control, jumping a curb, and crashing into a stop sign. De Loera was taken into custody.
The second separate attack happened in Bensenville, Illinois, where Widman Osberto Lopez-Funes, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, rammed ICE officers with his vehicle and then ran into his home.
Agents later arrested him at the scene without further incident. “This is exactly what happens when Governor Pritzker, Mayor Johnson, and other sanctuary politicians demonize ICE and encourage illegal aliens to resist law enforcement,” McLaughlin said.
McLaughlin added that assaults on ICE officers have climbed sharply by more than 1,000 percent, with vehicles increasingly used as weapons.
