Last week, famed podcaster Candace Owens detailed an apparent French link to her investigation into the murder of her close friend and colleague, Charlie Kirk.
Just after midnight on November 22, 2025, Candace Owens posted on X that she had received a credible threat that French President Emmanuel Macron and spouse Brigitte Macron have “executed upon and paid for my assassination.”

The post on X reads:
URGENT
“Two days ago I was contacted by a high-ranking employee of the French Government. After determining this person’s position and proximity to the French couple, I have deemed the information they gave me to be credible enough to share publicly in the event that something happens.
In short, this person claims that the Macrons have executed upon and paid for my assassination. Yes, you read that correctly. More specifically, that the green light was given to a small team in National Gendamarie Intervention Group. I am told there is one Israeli that is on this assasination squad and the plans were formalized.
Again, this person provided concrete proof that they are well placed within the French government apparatus.
Further to this point, this person claims that Charlie Kirk’s assassin trained with the French legion 13th brigade with multi-state involvement.
Journalist Xavier Poussard’s life is also at risk. This is deadly serious. The head of state of France apparently wants us both dead and has authorized professional units to carry this out.
I ask that every person RETWEET and share this.
I do not know who in the American government can be trusted, since this source claims our leaders are aware. But I have more specific information which is definitively verifiable, should they care to reach out to me.

The French journalist mentioned in the post, Xavier Poussard, is the author of the book Becoming Brigitte, which delves into the murky past of Brigitte Macron and the French media’s failure to provide accurate reporting regarding the origins of Brigitte’s romantic relationship with Emmanuel. Poussard worked closely with Owens in her efforts to bring the story to light to the American public, and his book formed the basis for her viral YouTube series with the same title.
On Sunday, November 23, Owens stated that she had “informed people in the Federal government and the White House of the France and Israeli assassination plot and am willing to provide full details, as well as the name of the assassins and international accounts in France and Canada through which money was exchanged.”
Early Tuesday morning, Owens posted to X that her show is off air for the week.

Over the weekend, Owens provided more context as to why the Macrons would theoretically be involved in putting a hit on her via Instagram stories. She wrote: “Because I am certain that French Foreign Legionnaires (a military unit made up of multiple nations–fyi) were involved in Charlie’s assassination, I feel that it is urgent that I share the following information with the public…”
“We’ll start with a question: What is it about Brigitte Macron that required Charlie Kirk, followed by Sergio Gor and then President Donald Trump to personally call me and ask me not to further investigate her? At the time, it seemed absurd. Funny, almost. Sergio Gor was pretty fired up about it. But why? Why is the story of a man crossdressing as a First Lady in France apparently the biggest state secret of all?”
Owens then brought up the fact that just prior to Kirk’s assassination, she had been investigating the possibility of whether “Brigitte” (while still living as a man, allegedly) had been involved in MK Ultra experiments in the United States during his “missing years” in the military – most specifically, the Stanford Prison Experiments. What was strange to Owens is that in the Macrons’ lawsuit against her, they mentioned MK Ultra “a jaw-dropping 18 times” which was “a shocking overreaction to me having merely mentioned that [Brigitte’s] alleged birthday also happens to be the day the MKUltra program was born.”
Owens is currently prodding a theory that perhaps Brigitte actually comes from a family of German Nazi scientists that were brought over to the US after WWII during “Operation Paperclip” – a legitimate government program that occurred. Owens had previously wondered about this but had not discussed it on air yet. Brigitte’s supposed backstory of coming from a family of chocolatiers from Amiens, France seemed implausible following a tip that Amiens was heavily bombarded in WWII and it was highly unlikely the bakery would have survived both bombardment and Nazi occupation.
Owens revealed documentation that shows that after WWII, a family in Bamberg, Germany with the last name Trogneux (Brigitte’s maiden name) “was transported to Amiens as ‘refugees’.”
Owens wonders if this is the big state secret that government officials were scrambling to protect: that not only is Brigitte Macron really a man, but that he actually comes from a family of Nazi scientists that were brought into the United States for a time.
“I am realizing that the story of Brigitte Macron, which I stumbled upon quite innocently, is about a lot more than a trans woman who groomed Emmanuel Macron,” Owens concluded.
