Although Candace Owens, whose show recently became the #1 podcast in the world, indicated she initially did not think Charlie Kirk’s assassination could have been linked to her coverage of Brigitte Macron’s past, in her episode streamed on November 20, 2025, she lays out a timeline that highlights a mysterious French connection to her investigation of Kirk’s murder. Owens officially worked alongside Kirk at Turning Point USA from 2017-2019 and continued to make regular appearances at TPUSA’s conferences and college campus events up until last year.
INVESTIGATION RECAP
In a previous episodes, Owens revealed that her team (with the help of what she calls “internet sleuths” as part of a “decentralized” intelligence effort), realized that over the past couple of years, two specific Egyptian military planes (identified by their tail numbers, which are like license plates) repeatedly landed in the same obscure towns across the United States where Charlie Kirk or TPUSA Faith happened to be holding events at the same time. Soon after this realization, one internet sleuth in particular pointed out that these planes more specifically seemed to be in the vicinity of Charlie’s wife, Erika.
An additional foreign source reported to Owens that the passengers on these planes were Egyptian military sub-contractors. This led to questions as to whether foreign countries were involved in Charlie Kirk’s assassination, as these planes were in the Provo, Utah area when Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.
Earlier this week, Candace revealed a lengthy letter from a source within the federal government whom she attests is credible. This source pointed out the oddity that these Egyptian planes frequently made stops in Wilmington, Delaware as they crossed the country. The source rejects the claims that these stops were simply for airplane maintenance. According to the source, the planes were going through a hangar in federal waterways that is currently under lease by a French company. This source says the hangar is monitored by the federal government and is used to discreetly move foreign dignitaries often under diplomatic cover.
POTENTIAL FRENCH LINK TO THE EGYPTIAN PLANES
During the November 20, 2025 episode, Candace Owens recalls that in her initial conversation with TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet on the day of Kirk’s assassination, Kolvet said that there was a credible threat against both she and Tucker Carlson who were on a list and that they should lay low. (Tucker had published an interview with Owens on August 1 that went viral. In that interview, they discussed many topics which included the investigation into Brigitte Macron’s past.) Owens says she received another call from a “very well-known woman” that same day who is married to a CIA contractor who also told her that she was on this list. Owens says at the time, she didn’t think to ask where the alleged threat was coming from. She says she has never been informed by the authorities of a supposed threat. Just a few days after that initial call, Owens said she spoke to Kolvet again and claimed he said “it was supposed to be you.” At the time, she rationalized that statement as a type of bargaining – i.e., wishing it had been someone else, wondering why a good person with so much life ahead of him had been killed, etc.

Working through her timeline, Owens then explained that she was fired from the Daily Wire just six days after the very first time she mentioned Brigitte Macron in an episode in March of 2024. In January 2025, Owens (on her independent podcast show which began in June 2024), premiered her viral “Becoming Brigitte” series in which she alleges that France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron, married to President Emannuel Macron, is actually a male. In February 2025, Charlie Kirk called Owens on behalf of the White House asking her to stop talking about Brigitte Macron. Allegedly, President Emmanuel Macron was pressuring President Trump on this matter and it was holding up a potential peace deal regarding the Ukraine and Russia war. After some back and forth with Charlie Kirk and a call directly from President Trump to Owens, Owens agreed to pause her coverage but only for a limited time.
On July 20, 2025 one of the aforementioned Egyptian planes flew from Cairo through Paris and landed in Omaha, Nebraska. On July 23, the Financial Times reported that the Macrons had just filed a lawsuit against Owens in a Delaware court, which puzzled her legal team, as Owens is based in Tennessee. On July 26, that same Egyptian plane departed Wilmington, Delaware from that federally-monitored French hangar and headed back to Cairo.
Although Owens initially did not believe her investigation into Brigitte Macron’s past had anything to do with Charlie’s murder, the apparent overlap between key events in the investigation into Kirk’s September 10 assassination and her coverage of the Macron allegation leaves her questioning whether there is a larger, globalist agenda at play.
