He said that the fact that the left is celebrating his death shows that the country could be headed for a civil war.

America is currently in a very dark place.
That is what Joe Rogan, the popular broadcaster said, in a doomsday analysis during one of his recent shows, adding that the frictions between the left and right groups of the country are so at odds with each other that the United States could be close to a “bona fide civil war.”
According to Newsmax, Rogan mentioned the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk, and how some in the public reveled because of his murder. He said it was a perilous indication of how deep political and ideological violence has penetrated into the mainstream.
Rogan told listeners that before Kirk’s death, he had estimated the U.S. as roughly a “4 or 5” on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being a civil war.
“Charlie Kirk gets shot and people are celebrating,” Rogan said. “Like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You want people to die that you disagree with? Where are we right now on the scale of one to civil war?”
But after Kirk was killed, Rogan said he now thinks the country may be at a “7.”
“As soon as regular people start celebrating somebody getting murdered … in front of their wife and kid … you’re in dark territory,” Rogan said.
Joe Rogan: "Where are we right now on the scale of 1 to civil war? I thought we were 4 or 5. But after the Charlie Kirk thing, I'm like, 'Oh, we might be 7.' This might be step 7 on the way to a bona fide civil war."

Some commentators said the Rogan warning came after a series of violent cases that reached its zenith when Kirk, who was travelling the country as part of the Turning Point USA tour, was slain by a sniper while speaking in front of students at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.
Tyler Robison, 22, the alleged shooter, was dating a transgender youth and had adopted leftist ideologies when he was captured, according to authorities.
On Monday, violence exploded again during a Turning Point USA event, this time at the University of California, Berkeley. Antifa forces and left-wing protestors showed up at the “American Comeback” tour, which would have been Kirk’s final stop of the year, and tried to put an end to the event, facing 300 riot-geared police.
Amidst shouts of violence, a protestor attacked a man who was wearing a red shirt, pulled off his cross necklace, and punched him. With a bloody face, the victim chased the attacker and tackled him right before police intervened and separated them.
