The outspoken Georgia Representative believes Republicans lost Tuesday because they have concentrated more on foreign policy and have failed to deliver at home.

Face it: The GOP is losing its way.
That’s what Marjorie Taylor Greene, the outspoken Republican Congresswoman from Georgia believes, as the GOP has seemed to be fracturing lately in the current heated political climate. Along the way, Greene said that she is in no way, shape or form making a bid for a presidential candidacy, as beltway gossip about the subject has been increasing.
The fact that the GOP has steered away from their main goal of serving its constituents is the reason they took a beating at the ballot box last Tuesday, Greene said. She warns that if Republicans don’t mend their ways, they will lose during the 2026 mid-terms, big time.
Oh, and she is not by any chance quitting the GOP, either, Green says, according to a story by The Washington Times. In fact, she claims it’s the other way around.
“Everybody’s like, MTG breaks with Trump. MTG breaks with our party. And it’s like, not actually,” Ms. Greene told The Washington Times. “If you look at anything I said five years ago and you compare it today, it is almost 100% the same.”

Blunt and no stranger to causing a commotion in Washington, Greene’s usual targets are Democrats. But recently the Rep. from Georgia has set her fiery wit on the Republicans and, despite being her big and loyal supporter, on President Donald Trump.
The reason? Greene claims that since winning the 2024 elections, Republicans have lost their way. They have concentrated on foreign policy, especially on Israel, and drifted away from the concerns of the America First voters: the economy.
“American people voted for America First in November of 2024,” Ms. Greene said. “That’s certainly the policies that I fully believe in and represent and always have, and that’s what the American people voted for, and it has not been delivered,” she said.
“I think there’s a lot of disenfranchised voters right now,” she said.
Greene added: “Let’s focus on our country,” Ms. Greene said. “All these foreign wars and causes don’t lower grocery prices, don’t help small businesses, don’t help seniors. They’re not helping my kids’ generation, who have no hope of owning a home or finding a good job.”
