Gen. Mike Flynn Pleads With President Trump For Accountability

In a lengthy post on X, General Mike Flynn, a Catholic who served as the National Security Advisor to President Trump in his first term, demanded accountability as public trust has been “obliterated” while the family has been “systematically weakened and devalued.”

“We the People reject the lies, the gaslighting, the censorship, and the deliberate erosion of our lived reality over the past decade,” Flynn writes. “Will you stand with We The People or will you protect the system that failed us?”

Flynn’s concerns echo the sentiments of a MAGA constituency waning in its enthusiasm for the president, feeling that much of what Trump campaigned on has not been addressed in his second term.

“NOT ONE high-profile Deep State felon, traitor, or election meddler has been prosecuted,” writes one user who corresponded with Gen. Flynn. “FBI reforms promised, but no public accounting for Russiagate or January 6 overreach or 2020 ELECTION STEAL.”

While Gen. Flynn did not name specific issues in his post, many critics in the frustrated MAGA base take issue with the lack of accountability on several scandals, including:

• January 6 – committee members like Liz Cheney and Adam Schiff in their blanket persecutions of Trump supporters
• Perpetrators of the RussiaGate scandal, like former FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan
• Zero indictments or criminal cases for allegations of fraud and election interference in the 2020 election
• The Biden family’s alleged criminal activity
• The use of an “autopen” during President Biden’s administration
• Anthony Fauci’s wanton abuse of power, his and others’ roles in gain-of-function research, and lies pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic
• The new claim that there is no client list for Epstein and the lack of arrests in this pedophile network despite Trump campaigning for justice on this issue leading into 2024
• Concerns about a politically-weaponized deep state, evidenced by events like the raid at Mar-a-Lago and the previous administration’s pointed persecution of parents, pro-lifers, and Catholics
