President Donald Trump’s crusade against DEI and anti-discrimination is about to get tougher.

Trump’s anti-discrimination enforcement agency has an elevated barrier to clear to demonstrate companies’ diversity, equity, and inclusion policies transgress the law, according to interviews with more than a dozen corporate legal and compliance experts, reported Newsmax.

At the forefront of Trump’s mission against DEI discrimination is Andrea Lucas, head of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She is allegedly making a strong move toward what she calls “a more conservative view of civil rights,” like giving priority to cases of discrimination against white men.

That modification, coupled with the Trump administration’s aggressive campaign to dismantle DEI programs, is set to clash with the boundaries of U.S. discrimination law, long a cornerstone of workplace equality.

But Lucas quoted a widely circulated article in Compact Magazine, known for its assortment of bipartisan populist writers, contending people were turned down for jobs due to diversity-hiring programs, a common conservative complaint that has been vocally criticized by experts and diversity advocates.

“If we have a charge of discrimination against you, we’re going to use the full force of the federal government to remedy it,” Lucas said. “This is a pro-enforcement, pro-American worker administration.”

Lucas’ actions signal an extensive campaign to redefine the meaning of workplace fairness, setting up a ‍possible conflict with corporate America, which has widely embraced DEI measures to hire and retain diverse talent.

Nevertheless, Lucas plans to open inquiries into corporate DEI practices to discover whether employers made race or sex-based decisions, she told Reuters in an exclusive interview last week. Particularly, she called for submissions of possible instances of discrimination against white men by corporate DEI practices.
