Anyone who knowingly facilitates or performs these procedures on a minor is subject to a fine and up to 10 years in prison.

Last week, the Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives voted 216-211 to pass H.R.3492, the Protect Children’s Innocence Act. The straightforward legislation, sponsored by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) would effectively ban all sex change operations on minors as well as the use of puberty blockers for the purpose of “transitioning” a child.
The measure was almost entirely approved by Republicans, with the following exceptions voting “no:”
Disappointingly, Reps. Fitzpatrick and Lawler are Catholic.
Only three Democrats joined the Republican majority to vote in favor of the bill’s passage: Rep. Donald G. Davis (D-NC), Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX), and Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX). Cuellar and Gonzalez are both Catholic.
The Republicans’ narrow majority in the Senate means that several Democrat senators would need to be persuaded to vote yes for it to pass.
Also last week, Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s HHS announced that it is initiating the regulatory process to “end the practice of sex-rejecting procedures on children that expose young people to irreversible harm” and carry out President Trump’s Executive Order 14187, “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation.”
🚨 BREAKING: The House just passed legislation banning life-ruining medical transitions on minors, including surgeries, puberty blockers, and hormone treatments.

Bishop Robert Barron of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester (MN) and founder of Word on Fire Catholic Ministries revealed that before Pope Francis died, he told a group of bishops “I want you all to battle the gender ideology that is sweeping your country. It is opposed to the Bible and to our Catholic anthropology.”
“This is why I was so pleased to see Secretary Robert Kennedy’s announcement this morning that he is endeavoring to ban so-called gender re-assignment surgery and the use of puberty blockers that halt natural sexual development,” Bishop Barron wrote. “The Catholic Church agrees with Secretary Kennedy that these procedures result in irreparable physical harm and typically increase the psychological distress of those who undergo them.”
