The message goes to the government of the Western Hemisphere.

The message is simple: protect your borders.
Taking to social media, the State Department beseeched governments in the Western Hemisphere to “protect their borders” and “defend their citizens” against the consequences of mass migration.
“The State Department has now instructed U.S. embassies in countries in the Western Hemisphere to report on human rights abuses caused by mass migration,” The Department wrote on an X post, according to Newsmax.
In a thread of posts on X, the Department said that “[m]ass migration and the criminal networks that enable it” have “wrought havoc on America” before President Donald Trump returned to office and “secured the border.”
The department said American embassies “will report on crimes resulting from mass migration and urge governments … to combat these human rights abuses.”
“Embassies will analyze government policies that facilitate mass migration or privilege migrants over citizens,” the department said.
In addition, the State department added that The Trump administration extolled countries to “protect their borders and defend their citizens against the human rights abuses caused by mass migration.”
“The United States stands ready to work alongside nations across the Western Hemisphere to end the global crisis of mass migration,” the State Department wrote.
Newsmax reported that the State Department’s posts were released in the middle of escalating tensions between the U.S. and the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro. The Trump administration has increased the pressure on the leader of that country in the hopes that he steps down.
So far American forces have destroyed more than 30 boats in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean in what it has been labeled as a counter-narcotics campaign. Trump has ordered a blockade of sanctioned oil tankers bound for and leaving Venezuela.
Also, the Department of Homeland Security introduced last week new immigration enforcement procedures and visa travel restrictions aimed at reinforcing national security and streamlining border management.
