The investigation comes as most federal agencies, and major scientific bodies keep saying the evidence does not demonstrate a link between cellphone use and cancer.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is initiating an investigation on cell phone radiation, constructing on Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s denunciation, relating them to neurological damage and cancer.
The department said that last year 22 states had limited cellphone use in schools to enhance the mental and physical health of children under the “Make America Healthy Again” movement, according to The Daily Wire. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration also canceled old webpages saying cellphones are not perilous.
“The FDA removed webpages with old conclusions about cell phone radiation while HHS undertakes a study on electromagnetic radiation and health research to identify gaps in knowledge, including on new technologies, to ensure safety and efficacy,” said HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon.
According to HHS, the investigation will examine electromagnetic radiation and human health to find gaps in current scientific knowledge, including risks linked with newer technologies. Nixon said the effort is being carried out while older federal webpages stating that cellphones are not hazardous have been taken out, describing those conclusions as outdated. The study was mandated by President Donald Trump’s “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) Commission and follows earlier MAHA-aligned efforts, including policies cited by HHS claiming that 22 states restricted cellphone use in schools to improve children’s health.
🚨🇺🇸 HHS LAUNCHES PROBE INTO CELL PHONE RADIATION CANCER AND BRAIN RISKS

The conversation nobody wanted to have is now official.
RFK Jr.'s HHS is diving into thousands of studies on EMF radiation and potential connections to tumor growth and neurological damage.

Kennedy, an environmental lawyer by training, has contended for years that wireless radiation poses serious health risks. He has represented plaintiffs who held responsible brain tumors on cellphone use, chaired Children’s Health Defense, and helped force a federal court review of FCC radiation standards in 2020. He has cautioned that children are exposed to what he calls a “toxic soup” of wireless radiation.
But several mainstream scientists beg to differ, as large epidemiological analyses have found no relation between cellphone use and cancer, and experts note that cellphones emit non-ionizing radiation, which does not damage DNA in the way cancer-causing radiation does. The World Health Organization comparably says there is no convincing evidence of harm, though it supports continued long-term research.
