“As Florida governor, in year one, I will push for the first-of-its-kind OnlyFans sin tax,” governor hopeful James Fishback said in a recent interview with NXR Studios.
“If you are a so-called OnlyFans creator in Florida, you are going to pay 50% to the state on whatever you so-called earn via that online degeneracy platform.”
OnlyFans is a sexually explicit website in which users can pay subscriptions to access videos of certain performers.
That tax money, he went on to say, will be used to fund the education system, crisis pregnancy centers, and a first-of-its-kind mental health czar for men, “because men have been told for far too long that they are guilty of masculinity, that they are guilty of all of society’s ills. And I’m not going to stand for that slanderous lie.” Fishback is a practicing Catholic.

Fishback said the proposal is called a sin tax because “it is a sin number one. But the purpose of a sin tax in economics is to disincentivize and deter a behavior. And yes, as Florida governor, I don’t want young women who could otherwise be mothers, raising families, rearing children – I don’t want them to be selling their bodies to sick men online. And I don’t want young, impressionable men who have strayed from Christ, who have strayed from our Lord and Savior, to be told and drawn into lust and have their entire brain rewired.”
Following the interview, Fishback doubled down on X, writing, “As Florida Governor, I will not let young, smart, and capable women be exploited by OnlyFans. All revenue from Florida’s 50% OnlyFans Tax will increase public school teacher pay and improve school lunches. Our teachers and students deserve better.”
During the interview with NXR Studios, Fishback also discussed the bombing of the Holy Family Catholic parish in Gaza. Fishback is up against Florida Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, House Rep. Byron Donalds, and former House Speaker (Florida) Paul Renner in the primary.
