I have a special announcement to make.
We’re just weeks away from our 3rd Annual Catholic Prayer for America Gala to be held in Washington D.C. on March 19th, Feast of St. Joseph. This signature event by Catholics for Catholics places PRAYER as the number one priority for every American.
We’re at war.
It’s a spiritual war waged in the heart of all of us as we the people decide, will this Country remain “one nation under God”? Now a war calls for warriors, men and women ready to risk it all in the pursuit of Truth.
To that end, it is my honor to announce that my friend and fellow warrior, Candace Owens will be joining us as one of the keynote speakers at the Gala. For those of you unfamiliar let me tell you about her.
Candace became known early on for her fearless defense of truth, unafraid to challenge things like the lies of Big Pharma or speaking up on behalf of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein. She recently became Catholic in large part due to the silent example of her husband George and the guidance of some holy priests. This newfound Catholic faith, further CONFIRMED in her the mission to take on the most controversial topics that needed to see the light of day.
Now warriors face enemies and despite the critics, last December Candace became the number one podcaster in the entire world. As we prepared to announce Candace as a speaker, I drew courage from Charlie’s example of not backing down from the intense pushback that no doubt will come from bringing warriors for truth onto a national stage.
48 hours before my friend Charlie Kirk was shot, in spite of the fierce pushback, he made known his intention to have Candace speak at his own signature event. Charlie saw what millions see when he privately predicted that one day, when he himself would die young that Candace would become a “David” in the fight for America.
With this in mind, and with a nod to my friend Charlie, I have asked Candace to come and give a testimony on how her Catholic faith has given her the courage to fight the “Goliaths” of this anti-Christian world.
Today is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, or as it’s also known the Feast of Candelaria. In a society full of lies, confusion and darkness, the only thing that really matters is Jesus Christ. It is Our Lord who is the “light of the Gentiles and glory for His people Israel.”
Catholics for Catholics is a proud partner with the White House’s “America Prays” Campaign. As the nation celebrates 250 Years since its foundation, we hope that you will join us in person for this capstone event celebrating the importance of prayer for America.
May Joseph and Mary who brought their baby boy into the Temple that day, give each of you the courage to say with your words and actions, that Christ is King, and of His Kingdom there be no end!
