On Tuesday, the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. hosted the White House’s Religious Liberty Commission for a hearing on antisemitism. One of the commission members, Carrie Prejean Boller, a Catholic, started pushing back against various individuals testifying after realizing that antisemitism was consistently being framed as an issue pertaining to the state of Israel and acceptance of Zionism.
Shabbos Kestenbaum, a political commentator for PragerU, specifically called out Prejean Boller after the hearing in a post on X, writing, “I am deeply disappointed that one member, rather than listening to my testimony on the discrimination against American Christians and Jews, decided to focus exclusively on Israel.”
FOR PERSPECTIVE: If an American thinks it's bad to have blind support for the Country of the VATICAN …for example send billions of tax pay dollars to them..or other things…We Catholics dont consider you "anti-catholic".

He then shared a video clip from the hearing, in which at the end, Prejean Boller asks if Kestenbaum was willing to condemn what Israel has done in Gaza and referenced the recent admission that 70,000 civilians have been killed.
“No because I unilaterally reject that it’s not a genocide,” Kestenbaum replied, though apparently unaware that he unintentionally indicated a genocide with his word choice.
Prejean Boller responded with a strong letter posted to X:
Forcing people to affirm Zionism on a “Religious Liberty” Commission is the opposite of religious freedom.

I will not resign, and I will not be bullied for following my Catholic conscience. My response to @ShabbosK pic.twitter.com/ecrKvZJVK2
Laura Loomer, a hyperbolic political influencer who describes herself as a “Feisty Jewess,” openly mocked Prejean Boller’s Catholic faith and the sacrament of Confession.
Loomer wrote, “You are a pageant participant. What qualifications do you have to be sitting on a White House committee on religion? You have been a ‘Catholic’ for 21 weeks…Give me a break. You’ll be fired and then you will be shamed as you deserve to be. Then you can go to church and cry in a box about your sins and try to be a better person.”
Prejean Boller described Loomer’s comments as “anti-Catholic bigotry wrapped in the language of ‘fighting anti-semitism.’”
The anti-Zionist Jewish group Voice of Rabbis lent its support to Prejean Boller in a post on X:
"As a Catholic I don't agree the modern state of Israel has any biblical prophecy."
