She’s back! The former Presidential candidate said she could go for another few political rounds for the country’s top political gig.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris said she is still weighing another run for president in 2028, swaying between passing the baton and going full steam ahead into another campaign.
In an interview with author Sharon McMahon, where the former second-in-command’s title still says, “VP Kamala Harris,” the former presidential candidate was asked if she would run again after losing the 2024 presidential election to President Donald Trump, according to The Washington Times.
“I haven’t decided,” Harris said.
“You’re still thinking about it?” McMahon asked.
“I might,” Ms. Harris answered with a smile. The interview was released Monday.

There has been a lot of speculation about her potential political future, as Hariss has constantly refused to answer clearly whether she intends to run again. This year she decided against running for governor of California.
McMahon said that she got the insinuation of another campaign stab from the former vice president’s recent memoir, “107 Days,” which focused on her failed 2024 presidential campaign. Harris said the book has no hidden 2028 agenda.
“No, the book is about a specific period in time. There was no agenda beyond what we’ve discussed already, which is just sharing with people, you know, the reality of the experience, and hopefully allowing people to see something of themselves in it, in a way that, you know, that Girl Scout troop, when it comes time for them to read it, might see themselves in and know what they can do and that they could do it,” she said.
Harris has been on a national book tour, giving many interviews that included pressing questions about what her next steps look like.
