The former Congresswoman asserts Americans voted for ‘no more foreign wars’ and ‘no more regime change.’

As the likelihood of a U.S. military strike against Iran menaces, a former Congresswoman and prior supporter of President Donald Trump claimed on a social media post that Americans do not want their country to go to war against their old adversary in the Middle East.
“Americans do not want to go to war with Iran!!!” posted on X, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, according to a Fox News story.
“They want to be able to afford their lives and get ahead. They want to be happy and enjoy life. They want their government to put elite pedos in jail. And they voted for NO MORE FOREIGN WARS AND NO MORE REGIME CHANGE,” she added.
Davis Ingle, a White House spokesman told Fox News, “President Trump’s strong and decisive leadership has already ended eight wars and saved countless lives, and he will continue to make America and the world a safer place. Marjorie Taylor Greene is a former congresswoman, traitor, and a quitter.”
Formerly a staunch Trump supporter, Greene had a heated, public fallout with the President last year. During the middle of her House term, she left office early last month.

In the meantime, the President has been putting pressure on Iran to strike a deal and leave aside their nuclear aspirations. In addition, after he got together with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week, Trump said in a Truth Social post that he “insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to see whether or not a deal can be consummated.”
“If it can, I let the Prime Minister know that will be a preference,” he wrote.
“If it cannot, we will just have to see what the outcome will be. Last time Iran decided that they were better off not making a Deal, and they were hit with Midnight Hammer — That did not work well for them. Hopefully this time they will be more reasonable and responsible,” Trump declared in the post.
