A Fort Bragg elementary school that serves military families fired a North Carolina teacher who was allegedly transgender and “identified” as a “trans wolf.”

According to a story by Fox News, parents complained about a transgender substitute teacher,  for allegedly donning suggestive clothing and exhibiting a “wolf” guise around young students. The employee was fired, according to multiple reports and social media posts.

The employee, who identified as female and nonbinary, taught since 2023 at Mildred B. Poole Elementary School at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, according to a letter sent by legal group Liberty Counsel to the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Feb. 9.

The substitute teacher used female names and sported “BDSM-style” female clothing, including a dog collar and an animal tail. Once in the classroom, the teacher instructed the children to address the individual by some online personas, including “Roxxanne,” “Roxxie,” “Captain Roxxie” or “Koda.”

Mildred B. Poole Elementary school officials did not immediately return Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

According to Liberty Counsel, parents brought up their worries about the teacher’s unbecoming gear in early 2025. The mothers of pre-K and kindergarten children said that the teacher was permitted to identify as a woman, asking student to address him by female names and pronouns; the teacher would dress in “tight shirts and tank tops, above-the-knee skirts and combat boots while wearing a BDSM dog collar with dog tags representing sexual fetishes.”

One mother reported that her child arrived home frightened and said, “Mommy, I’m scared he’s going to come eat me,” after hearing the teacher describe being a werewolf.
