In an episode released March 13, Carrie Prejean Boller and Tucker Carlson discussed the Catholic Prayer for America gala where Boller will be presented with the Catholic Champion Award.
Boller has endured blowback and even termination from the White House’s Religious Liberty Commission after refusing to censor her own Catholic beliefs.
Boller mentioned that there will be at least one priest at the gala who has publicly backed her as she has remained undaunted in her commitment to free speech and religious liberty.
Reflecting on the support and encouragement from Catholics for Catholics, Boller said it made her emotional to think about.
“Could you imagine going through all this and then they come out and they say, ‘Not only are we going to honor you, and invite you to [the gala], but we’re going to give you this award. You’re going to get the Catholic Champion award. You’re a champion, Carrie.’ I’m thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, thank you. Thank you for this.’”
Every year, Catholics for Catholics honors a few individuals who have stood out for their patriotism and defense of the Catholic faith.

On the same day which the interview with Tucker aired, Congressman Thomas Massie shared that he is calling for a congressional review of Boller’s removal from the Religious Liberty Commission. Massie, a Methodist, highlighted how Boller’s comments concerning the situation in Gaza as well as Christian Zionism have mirrored statements made by Catholic leaders, including Pope Leo XIV.
Massie wrote that it was “both ironic and concerning that the Commission elected to expel Mrs. Caroline Prejean Boller on February 11, 2026, due to her expressing Catholic religious viewpoints.”
