Divine Mercy Sunday 2026 – John Yep sat down yesterday live on EWTN with Fr. Chris Alar at the Divine Mercy Shrine in Stockbridge, MA to discuss faith in America and what Catholics can do to strongly represent their church and country.

On the Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday, I was part of something special that I want you all to know about.
In Stockbridge, Massachusetts, 15,000 Catholics gathered together at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy to honor our Lord. I had the chance to address the thousands gathered there from around the world, which was humbling considering the great piety of the people who had made the pilgrimage there.
After my portion of the event, I was able to have a live interview on EWTN talking about the evangelization work of Catholics for Catholics here in the United States. This whole event was an opportunity to understand the place of Catholics for Catholics in this historic time in America. Never before has there been such a need for Catholic patriots willing to stand up and fight back against those who are trying to destroy America!
Moments before the EWTN interview, I chatted backstage with Bishop David Ricken of the Diocese of Green Bay. Bishop Ricken will always have my respect for being the bishop that approved the only Marian apparition in the United States!
Bishop Ricken and I had a wonderful conversation talking about the need to get Our Lady’s message from Champion, Wisconsin out to the world. Her message was clear: “Gather the children of this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation.”
That is what we did yesterday at the Divine Mercy event, and I could not be more grateful to all of you for your support. We are humbled by your prayers and backing of Catholics for Catholics.
Lastly, I wanted to let you know that for all those who sent prayer requests, we took them seriously, and took these intentions to prayer at the shrine. We will continue to pray for your intentions!
