Tonight I engaged in proper ecumenism, I interviewed a member of the Mormon religion Andy Biggs who is running for Governor of Arizona. The angels sang in praise before baby JESUS in Bethlehem when they said, “Glory to God in the Highest, and peace to men of good will.” Andy Biggs is a man of good will, pro traditional natural marriage, pro life, pro family (they have 6 kids), pro liberty, pro freedom of speech and conscience. I have much more in common with Andy Biggs a practicing member of the Mormon church.than I have with Katy Hobbs a fake apostate Catholic whose political philosophy is hard left. When a Catholic votes like a secular humanist moral relativist, this gives us secular humanist moral relativist leaders like Katy Hobbs that are anti – God and anti – Catholic. The Holy Bible says:
>”When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan” (Proverbs 29:2).
>William Penn (founder of Pennsylvania in 1682) warned, “A people not ruled by God will be ruled by tyrants.”
>“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3). In my humble opinion the liberal Democrats are destroying the Judeo Christian foundations of this country.
Patriotism is an expression of the two greatest commandments (Matt 22:36-44). If we truly love God, we are going to care about eternity. And if we truly love our neighbor, we are going to care about the civil society our neighbors live in. Particularly we are going to care about the person who is being overly controlled by the government or singled out in some way for abuse. Patriotism is the affection of love turned unselfishly for the good of one’s neighbor and ultimately for the glory of God. This is something we need to teach, but more importantly, we need to live it. Let us not be so heavenly minded that we can do no earthly good.
